The company
Back in 2008, Kiran Panchal noticed a growing problem: India's IT industry was booming, but so was its pile of discarded electronics. Having worked in an e-waste company in the U.S, he saw an opportunity to make a difference at home.
That's how Just Dispose Recycling was born: a company dedicated to e-waste recycling, data destruction, and IT asset disposal.
What started small is now a 40-member team that helps businesses across India retire, recycle, or safely destroy old electronics—while making sure data stays protected and the planet stays clean.
The challenge
Before using Bigin, things at Just Dispose were, well, a little chaotic. The team tracked everything via Google Sheets and Excel, and reminders lived in sticky notes or notebooks. If someone had to call a customer a few days later, they'd just jot it down and hope they remembered. Emails were sent manually, updates got missed, and follow-ups often slipped through the cracks.
Kiran knew there had to be a better way. He explored bigger CRMs like Salesforce, but they turned out to be too complex, too expensive, and too much for a small team.
The solution
A friend of Kiran's recommended trying out Bigin—which turned out to be exactly what they were looking for.
Getting started was quick and easy; the team learned how to import years of contacts, customize fields, and set up their own pipelines in no time. Today, they've embedded a lead capture form on their website, so every new inquiry automatically flows into their Bigin sales pipeline. From there, the team manages the entire sales process, and thanks to the Zoho Books integration, they can send quotations and invoices directly from Bigin, which makes the whole experience seamless for both the team and customers.
Leads also come in through WhatsApp and the company website. When a prospect initiates a chat, it's instantly connected to Bigin on the backend, allowing the Just Dispose team to respond in real time and discuss requirements without switching tools.
Automation takes things a step further. Kiran has set up city-based tags for all customers, which makes segmentation and communication effortless. For example, during festivals or special occasions, he uses these tags along with automated workflows to send personalized bulk emails, which saves time while keeping engagement warm and consistent.
Benefits and ROI
The result? Faster follow-ups, more conversions, and a measurable 39% boost in revenue proving that even a small team can achieve big results with the right CRM in place.
Looking forward
Just Dispose is now exploring more of what Bigin can do, from automating workflows and emails to integrating with other Zoho tools for smoother coordination between teams. They plan to build on this foundation as they grow, keeping things simple but smart.
