What are team pipelines in Bigin?
Team pipelines let more than one person work the same set of deals together, with shared visibility into where each one stands. They suit small teams who hand off prospects or collaborate on the same accounts.
How are team pipelines different from a regular pipeline?
A regular (generic) pipeline is a single, step‑by‑step visual representation of one business process and one record type (for example, only “Deals” in a sales process). It gives you a linear set of stages that every record follows, and all records in that pipeline share the same fields and structure, which works well when you only need to manage one kind of customer operation in your CRM. Team Pipelines, on the other hand, are multidimensional pipelines that let you manage multiple different business processes (such as sales, service, refunds, testimonials, test rides, etc.) in the same Bigin account. Each Team Pipeline can have its own record type, its own fields, its own stages, and its own access permissions, and can even contain sub‑pipelines with different stage sets inside the same process.
