About Email Notifications

Email Notifications allow you to build workflow alerts that let the users know about a particular update in your Bigin account. The email notifications are created for specific modules and can be delivered to a specific user, group, or user role. The email notifications are added as an instant action or a scheduled action while creating a workflow rule.

Manage Email Notifications Section

From the Email Notifications section, do the following:

  • View the list of email notifications.
  • Create a new email notification.
  • View the summary of an email notification.
  • Edit or delete an email notification.

By default, the Email Notifications section displays a list of email notifications created so far.

To create a new email notification, on the top-right corner of the Email Notifications section, click the + New Email Notification button. For more information, see Create a New Email Notification.

You can view the summary of an email notification. To view, from the list of email notifications, click the email notification.

To edit an email notification, do one of the following:

  • In the Email Notifications section, from the list of email notifications, hover over the email notification you want to edit, and next to the name of the email notification, click the more icon, and then click Edit.
  • From the summary page of an email notification, on the top-right corner, click Edit.

To delete an email notification, do one of the following:

  • In the Email Notifications section, from the list of email notifications, hover over the email notification you want to edit, and next to the name of the email notification, click the more icon, and then click Delete.
  • From the summary page of an email notification, on the top-right corner, click Delete.

You cannot delete an email notification that is associated with a workflow rule. To delete, you must disassociate the email notification first and then delete it.
